Rose Urban represented the Landlord, Spring Ridge, LP, in leasing three remaining retail spaces at Broadcasting Square, a 615,811-square-foot Power Center anchored by Target, Dicks Sporting Goods and Weis Markets. Bob’s Discount Furniture, LLC leased 19,653 square feet, replacing Office Depot. Comcast of New Mexico/Pennsylvania, LLC (Xfinity) leased 3,850 square feet and D&L Footwear, LLC, d/b/a Red Wing Shoes leased 1,680 square feet for a total of 25,183 square feet absorbed. The Total Combined Lease Consideration of the three deals was in excess of $5.5 Million Dollars. Bob’s Discount Furniture is slated to open in October, 2015. Comcast opened their Xfinity Store in March 2015 and Red Wing Shoes will open in August, 2015.
With over 615,000 square feet of retail space, Broadcasting Square boasts several large retail stores including Target, Babies R Us, Marshall’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes & Noble, Ulta, Petco and Weis Markets. Annually, Broadcasting Square generates over $200 million in sales.
